The banking sector, which is the leading sector of the financial market of Mongolia, is a major sector that is actively implementing many changes such as changes in laws and regulations and changes in the banking structure within the framework of the 2020-2023 Banking Sector Reform Program. In 2022, five systemically influential banks were transformed into open joint-stock companies and offered 5-15 percent of the total shares to the public, which increased the value of the Mongolian banking industry and made banks open to citizens.

The member organizations of our institute provide legal consulting services in the field of non-banking financial institutions, savings and loan cooperatives, insurance, reinsurance, commercial banking, and auditing. In these areas, citizens and organizations are providing advice in the areas of establishing a legal entity, obtaining a special license, drafting internal rules and regulations, and representing in court.
